Slate mashed up a bunch of different home-made interpretations of The Catcher in the Rye from YouTube for a piece they wrote after the author’s death on January 27th, stating:
The late JD Salinger never allowed Hollywood to make a film version of his classic coming-of-age novel, The Catcher in the Rye.
But that hasn’t stopped a new generation of fans from making their own video versions and posting them on YouTube.
The results are pretty hilarious.
